Dear colleagues!

On February, 16-19, 2009 Business Strategy Center «Perspektiva» at the support of League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine holds the V-th anniversary International Carpathian Insurance Conference. Place of carrying out – picturesque Carpathians, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Yaremche city, Recreation Centre «Karpaty».

For 5 years the International Carpathian Insurance Conference has become the important constituent of the insurance industry development, gained respect and authority among the professionals. The history of the International Carpathian Conference began in 2005. During this time the Conference was recognised and has caused interest in many countries in the world. Thus, in 2008 160 representatives from 11 countries of the world (Austria, Azerbaijan, Belorus, Germany, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine) had been accredited at Conference.

Today we observe the complicated process of insurance industry development, which is the main sector of non-banking financial sphere. Enormous international experience has been accumulated and its study and generalization will enable the Ukrainian insurance market to come out on new borders.

This year within the framework of the Conference the Round tables are planned on most pressing questions: activity of insurance companies in the conditions of financial crisis, state regulation of insurance market, motor insurance, forming of legislative base of industry and branch strategic development etc.
